I am a mixed-media artist, ecologist and a boundless creative.
A New Hampshire native, I grew up exploring a small patch of forest behind my childhood home that ignited a life-long curiosity about nature and my place in it. Now living in Deering, I explore more expansive forests where every trail leads to new discoveries, and where I find inspiration and spiritual recharge .
My art celebrates nature's story
Through the colors of a transitioning sky, the unique structure of a tree, or animal tracks in the snow, my art hints at the evidence of transition and resilience. The works also tell my story in the landscape using trail maps as a foundation for the images.
To capture the energy I feel, I use vibrantly colored, transparent India inks layered and mixed directly on the surface. This allows the maps to remain visible, providing a constant connection to place while I create.
My hope is that you connect to your own story in the work.
