My art celebrates nature's story

With a background in ecology, I'm drawn to the dynamic relationships among organisms and their environments—the stories of how plants, animals, and even the topography shape one another and persist through change.

I begin each piece with collaged trail maps, then layer washes of vibrant India inks to build texture and capture the energy of the landscape. This allows the maps to remain visible, providing a constant connection to place while I create.
