I create art inspired by my time spent on the trail

My art is inspired by outdoor experiences that are full of discovery, ranging from traces of human and animal movement in the snow, to expansive mountain views and close observations of trees that reveal their interactions with surrounding forest life.

My art celebrates nature's story

I work from time spent on the trail and in the field — observations and experiences that come back into the studio as ink, acrylic, and collaged trail maps. Each piece is a 'captured moment': the character of a tree, the evidence of ecological relationships, and sometimes, the traces we leave in the landscape.

Art that deepens your connection to nature

My goal as an artist is to encourage curiosity and a deeper appreciation for our forests—bringing calm, beauty, and a sense of place into your space.

Nature Journaling Workshops I teach the same observation skills that drive my work. No drawing experience required.
