Morning @ the Edge

In winter, a fresh snow makes recent activity readable. Field edges are prime hunting habitat for fox; small mammals concentrate in the grass and debris at the boundary between open ground and forest cover. These tracks move along the tree line, stopping at a clump of grass poking through the snow.
