Snow Catcher

Snow reveals tree structure in a way that no other season does. After a storm, the snow sits on the upper surface of every branch, tracing the full architecture from trunk to outermost twig. This oak graces a portion of my property, but it could be any of the magnificent oaks I encounter on the trail.
